Basic ingredient and element that inculcates and imbibes humility in humanity is now missing. Resultantly there is ofcourse life on planet but no humanity. This age is no doubt at the highest padestals of scientific and technological modernism but unfortunatly has reversed to that old age when human race could hardly distinct between virtue & vice and when greater part of the world lay under those thick black and dark clouds of barabrism.
Now again if i put an old question: Suppose a famous and very beautiful statue, a master piece and unique of its kind and therefore irreplaceable is in the same room with a living innocent baby and the room catches fire. If it is only possible to save either of two, which one should be saved? I am sure according to the generally prevailing mindset and preferances of this highly commercialised and materialistic age the answer of my question would be somewhat as follows: "That Statue should be saved and the Child be left to Perish" The argument would be: "That millions of babies are born everyday whereas that master piece of art could never be replaced" This is the view of very latest form of idol-worship. According to the modern perception of so called civilized minds in high societies, ordianry humans are simply made to born & perish whereas statues are made to live. Idol-worship is not only the worship of stone & clay idols & statues. It is the worship even of that greed & lust of power and wealth that is equally pronounced as idol-worship be it of individuals, be it of groups,be it of nation states.
